We are at Rio Brazil, Victoria Square in Belfast have taken delivery of the latest spring summer collection of A.P.C and are delighted to continue to be the sole stockist of the brand here.
A.P.C is best described as a heritage brand rather than a fashion one. Whilst its fits and shapes echo and are relevant to what is happening on the world fashion stage, it is not lead by such trends. This is a truly casual brand which has been creating leisure garments since it conception in 1987. Sweatshirts and tees, for example, have always been an integral part of each season. In many ways they have always been ahead of everyone else in this aspect and it is only now, due to the recent global events, that leisure wear has garnered a much wider following and as result many fashion brands have added leisure wear to their offering.

Seasonal pieces
A.P.C is not just about sweats and tees and each season sees new or other updated pieces. Fabric selection is key to the brands success as these are pieces which will exist in a wardrobe for years and which will not date or become irrelevant.
The ‘Trek’ and ‘Vincent’ shirts are recreated each season. The ‘Trek’ shirt is the go to casual fit shirt and has a soft collar and patch chest pocket.
The looser fitting ‘Vincent’ shirt has a square shape and straight bottom and work particularly well in softer more drapey linen fabrics.
The ‘Bastian’ over shirt is an invaluable wardrobe staple. It can be worn on its own as a shirt, or as a light weight jacket over layers. This season at Rio Brazil it comes in a striking cobalt blue with contrasting off white buttons and stitching.
There are a couple of stand out, more fashion led pieces also available at Rio Brazil this season. They include an ‘Edd’ shirt in a striking dragonfly print print. This has a camp collar, is square in shape with a straight bottom. There is also a ‘Joseph’ shirt available in a pale blue and white tie dye fabric. Again with a square bottom but with a regular collar and patch chest pocket. Both shirts are best worn out over a pair of looser fitting jeans or pants.
