Where does Corridor come from?

This New York brand was founded in 2013 by head designer Dan Snyder, specializing in North Eastern prep inspired clothing. Each piece is designed in house and offers a look taken from modern, western and downtown styles. After nearly eight years, three shops, and around 120 retail partners later, business is going very well for the team at Corridor NYC.

Corridor, How it looks and feels.

The aesthetic is simply modeled around classic and delicate clothing with beauty introduced into the overall design. The brand uses natural fabrics particularly cotton and linen mixes and also many of the garments are embellished with interesting coloured or shaped buttons, which creates an overall look which is individual yet grown up.

Another key feature to the brand is the use of signature pocket detailing with flap or patch types used on many of the over-shirts.

Is each piece an investment?

Sustainability is one of the brands main priorities. These garments have been designed and built with a philosophy to endure the everyday wear and tear of a busy lifestyle. They are not ‘disposable fashion pieces’.

What to wear Corridor with

Corridor sits very well within our brand mix, along side the likes of Oliver Spencer, Universal Works and Wax London. This softer square silhouette is a strong trend at the moment and is a look that all of these brands have adopted and so share.

The Corridor shirts would work well worn with the looser tapered bottoms. So choose from any of these brands all of which are available at RioBrazil.
