Following the success of Stine Goya with its mainline Winter collection there was large expectations to live up to with its designs and collection for Pre SS20 and it has not disappointed.

Inspiration for Stine Goya for this collection has been based on the Italian composer Giuseppe Verdi and his famous opera: Aida. Set in the backdrop of the old kingdom of Egypt the colours and patterns inspired by this fabulous era are evident throughout the collection. With its rich golden  hues and hand drawn prints on dresses such as the Monika dress and midi skirt, these fabulous details make these garments the stand out pieces for the collection.

A feminine, soft and romantic theme runs throughout the Pre SS20 collection with its delicate prints and pastel colours which are seen in the knitwear. Proving the durability of the pieces from Stine Goya the fabulous chunky knits can be paired with the midi skirts for a layered and cosy look or easily over the top of a midi dress where it can be used to dress down a look and again make it easy to work from day to night time

Stine Goya presents the Farrow Snakes dress, set in stretch fabric accompanied with a wide flowy skirt.Cut at mid length with a slightly fitted waist and a ruffled hem. Not forgetting the classic long voluminous sleeves styled with buttoned cuffs.Perfect for dressing up or down!

The tale behind the pattern is one of a classic twist of true love, betrayal against the backdrop of war. Inspired by Aida an Ethiopian beautiful princess who fell in love with a General called Radames. The romantic star pattern which is reminiscent of Aida’s love for Radames is mainly featured on both dress and blouse. The serpent symbol intertwined in the darkness of the black which represents day and night is a predominant feature throughout. We hope that just as Aida fell in love with Radames as will you with this stunning collection.

Love, betrayal, war and peace are the ever changing themes of the rich and tragic love story of Aida and Radames. The Alex Fluffy Mohair Mix Knit is crafted in Italy, etched with a wavy lace detail. Accompanied with rib detail on the hem and collar. Team with culotte trousers for a more causal look or dress it up with skirt.

Following on Stine Goya’s trademark vibrant and detailed print,  the Jasmine motifs do not  disappoint. Bold and elegant continuous floral design set on a backdrop of silk. The dress is cut to mid length and features an elasticated waist.

The Jasmine design links into the characteristics of the Ethiopian Princes. The Black& White flowers embellish a rich red. Perfect for any occasion dressed up or down. Features a deep loop closure at the back with loop-and- button closure at the neck.

Be swept away into the heart of the jungle this season with the Jungle Pink Scene. A story telling of wild animals and loud jungle scenes. The flowing skirt is cut at mid length and includes a quilted tie belt. This beautiful wrap dress is ideal as a dress in the midi or babydoll style as seen below.
