Danish designer Stine Goya has been breaking barriers with her expressive prints and bold use of colour since she launched her label in 2006. Taking inspiration from strong community values and her favourite artists, Goya has always strived to empower wearers with unique designs that celebrate the joyful moments in everyday life. The brand’s collections are locally rooted, focusing inward on her own community of creatives and celebrating them on a global scale. The house of Goya re-imagines Scandinavian fashion which was once dominated by minimalist designs and muted tones. Pre-Spring 2022

This Pre-Spring 2022 collection is a journey through colour and movement which is a theme that runs through many of Stine Goya’s designs. The collection named “Deconstructed Dancer” is inspired by gestures of contemporary dance with members of the House of Goya community taking part by moving to their own rhythm, paying homage to the beauty of vulnerability. Deconstructed Dancer inspires us to move more fluidly through life with designs in gentle colours and flowing silhouettes that tender chaos, inviting you to pause for a moment and find joy in the here and now before moving again.

This season Goya brings us some flair with chunky knits, flowy pants, rushed sleeves and high necks. One of our favourites here at Rio Brazil is the voluminous fit ‘Jasmine’ floral organza dress with gold detail and frill collar which is definitely a dress that will make you stand out from the crowd. If you’re looking for something similar to dress up in try our gorgeous ‘Ellie’ Devoré-velvet dress or our sparkling ‘Isra’ and ‘Tyra’ metallic blue co-ords which will have you feeling occasion ready. For something more versatile we have the high-neck ‘Evina’ dress in an abstract pattern which can be dressed up or down with some tights and leather boots like our Grenson so you can wear it from day to night. If you need something a little more casual we have some oversized knits like our colour-block ‘Blanci’ or ribbon detail ‘Sugsi’ which are easy to wear over jeans and flowy trousers.
