Scotch and Soda, the brand with no limits

Here at Rio Brazil we always seek out the most emerging brands and no brand has caught our eye more this Autumn season, with their charming designs, than Dutch outfitters Scotch and Soda.

Nestled away in the quaint streets of Amsterdam, Scotch and Soda reside in an archaic Dutch church among the city canals and radiant townhouses. But despite it’s godly surroundings, the designs that emanate from Scotch and Soda are free from order and constraints, with the clothing far more illustrative of the progressivism that Amsterdam is famed for.

The Scotch and Soda story began in 1985 but the brand took a different direction in the Spring/Summer of 2002. The three owners came together to collectively share their wealth of experience desire to produce great quality clothing. This shift in outlook has exponentially increased Scotch’s output and has led to the brand opening over 100 stores worldwide, with the brand producing apparel which caters for all ages and genders.

Scotch’s clothing offers a modern twist on timeless classics with pieces such as the navy crew neck pullover featuring a subtle patterned stripe or the light blue shirt with a faded x print, all of which combine to create simple but uniquely stylish clothing.

The distinctive eccentricity of the brand ensues from Scotch’s encouragement of it’s designers to embark on worldly adventures to seek inspiration for their latest designs, and the result of such a policy is reflected in the quirky nature of some collections with cultures as peculiar as the Tibetan nomads visible.

We’re certain that Scotch and Soda will appeal to all fashion lovers and you can be assured of looking stylish this winter in the brand that epitomises ‘less is more’
